Why wasn't my character approved?
Your character wasn't approved because something in it, such as its text or images, appears to break the laffi Community Guidelines. You can edit it and publish again.

How review works
Character text and images you submit for publishing are reviewed, using automated checks and human reviewers. A character can be approved, sent back for changes, or passed to a person for a closer look. Published characters can also be reviewed again later, for example after someone reports them.
Check your status
Open My Studio to see your character's status and the reason it wasn't approved, for example "Reason: impersonation of a real person." For what each status means, see "Character review status."
Common reasons
- A character that isn't clearly an adult (every character must be 18 or older), or anything that sexualizes minors
- Pornographic or sexually explicit content
- Violent or extremist content, or hate speech
- Pretending to be a real person, or using someone's likeness without permission
- Images or content you don't have the rights to use
- Advertising or promotion of other platforms
- Content about regulated or illegal goods
Calling something fiction, fan work or AI-generated doesn't make it allowed.
What you can do
- Read the reason and check every part of your character, images included.
- Change the parts that caused the problem. Don't re-upload the same content.
- Publish again. Editing and publishing again starts a new review.
Think it was a mistake?
Automated checks and reviewers can make mistakes. You can appeal within 30 calendar days of being notified. Tap the chat bubble at the bottom right of laffi and ask for a person — we'll create a ticket and reply in the app and by email. You can also email [email protected]. Include the character's name and why you think the decision was wrong. An appeal doesn't automatically pause the original decision, and it doesn't guarantee a different outcome.
