When Crystals expire and which are spent first
How long reward Crystals last depends on where they came from. When you spend Crystals, laffi always uses the ones that expire soonest first.

How long Crystals last

Newcomer gifts include the Crystals you get for binding an inviter. Those last 14 days. Crystals your inviter earns when the invitation succeeds are permanent.
Some gifts list their own expiry period in the gift description, for example "valid for 14 days after claiming." laffi tells you how long Crystals last when you receive them.
Crystals bought as a one-time purchase are permanent and don't expire just because time passes. Purchase details are shown in the app at checkout.
Which Crystals are spent first
When you use Crystals on a laffi AI feature, they're taken in this order:
- Crystals that expire soonest. If your Crystals have different expiry dates, the ones closest to expiring go first.
- Permanent Crystals. These are used only after your expiring Crystals.
What happens when Crystals expire
Once reward Crystals expire you can't use them anymore. Expired Crystals that you didn't buy can't be restored or exchanged for cash, unless the law where you live says otherwise.
Check what's expiring
- Open Invite & Earn (or tap your Crystal balance in the top bar). Your My Crystals card shows how many Crystals are Expiring soon.
- Tap Details to open Balance details. Each expiring amount shows its Expires date and time. Your permanent Crystals are listed as Never expires.
How many Crystals a feature costs
The app shows how many Crystals a feature uses, or how that number is worked out, where you use the feature.
