Delete your account

You can delete your laffi account yourself in the app under Account › Settings › Delete account, or on the web at laffi.app/account/delete. Deletion is permanent, happens right away, and can't be undone.

Cancel any subscription first

Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription you bought through the App Store or Google Play. Cancel it first in your store account settings to stop future charges. If you still have an active subscription, laffi will warn you before you delete.

How to delete your account

1. Sign in to the account you want to delete. For your security, you may be asked to sign in again.
2. Select Delete account. You can tell us why you're leaving, but you don't have to.
3. Type DELETE to confirm, then select Delete permanently.
4. Your account is deleted right away and you're signed out on every device.

What gets deleted

• All of your chats, story memories and conversation history.
• Your public profile, Personas, and the details you sent with feedback.
• Characters you published are taken down, and your drafts are removed.
• Your Apple, Google and email sign-in methods are disconnected. Signing in with them again creates a new, empty account.
• Any remaining Crystals and benefits can no longer be used. They aren't refunded or restored, except where the law or an applicable refund policy says otherwise.

What we keep

Records we're required to keep, such as purchase records and safety reports, are kept without your profile details, as described in our Privacy Policy. Copies of public content other users already saved or shared may still exist.

If something goes wrong

• "Your account could not be deleted": nothing was changed. Try again.
• Your connection dropped partway through: this usually means the deletion went through. Signing in again with the same method would create a new, empty account.
