What is laffi?

laffi is an AI-powered interactive entertainment app for adults, where you create fictional characters and chat with them to build stories together.

What you can do on laffi

• Chat with characters. Pick a character and develop a story with it through ongoing text conversations. Your conversation history is kept so the story can continue.
• Create your own characters. Make fictional characters and story settings, and choose whether each one is Public or Private. Characters you publish are reviewed, and only public characters can be found by other people.
• Use Personas. A Persona is who you are in a story, including what characters should call you. You can set a default Persona for new stories.
• Add memories. Memories are facts and preferences a character should always remember, like boundaries, important dates or relationship details.
• Use Crystals. Crystals are in-app credits used for certain features. They can't be cashed out or transferred to other users.

About the AI

Replies on laffi are generated by AI from your messages, the character's settings and the story so far. Keep in mind:

• Characters are fictional. They aren't real people and don't have real feelings, consciousness or professional qualifications.
• Replies can be inaccurate, incomplete or sometimes inappropriate, and may resemble content generated for other users.
• Don't treat replies as medical, mental health, legal, financial or other professional advice.
• Relationships in a story are fiction, not a promise from or a relationship with a real person.

All characters on laffi are portrayed as adults (18+).

If there's a real risk of harm, contact local emergency services — laffi isn't a substitute for emergency or professional help.
